I forgot to put my usesd oil out for the recycler last night. I
remembered after I went to bed. Almost got up to go do it since there's
a lot of it (two oil changes on the car and one on the truck's worth)
But said FUCK IT and went to sleep.



Well, the recycling gods must have have been smiling upon me. This morning
we awoke to strange noises outside. Uh.. there's someone digging
through our garbage? Hmm.. there's cops across the way too. Something's
going on.... so my wife calls the neighbor over there to find out WTF?



He says they found the lady that's two doors up from him dead. Of
course we don't know all the details, but he said they were talking
about pills and syringes. Guess they wen't looking through everyone's
garbage cans looking for 'evidence'. Which tells me they are at least
suspicious about her death. Hmmmm... her husband is creepy as hell.....
and from what we hear, they sleep in separate bedrooms and just sorta
coexist with each other.



Anyway, the good news is that they delayed picking up the trash and
recycling long enough that I was able to put the oil out this morning
before I left for work

Why do we cater to stupid people?  Why do we insist on helping them along through life instead of letting nature kill them off?   What would Darwin say about us constantly interfering with the natural selection process of our own species?
